Time & Location

Aug 25, 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Chautauqua Institution, 1 Ames Ave, Chautauqua, NY 14722, USA

About the Event

Spend the day at Chautauqua Institution with your YWCA Community. Part of a week focused on Resilience, the morning amphitheater lecture will feature award-winning historian Keisha Blain who joins a series on resistance and resilience in the face of racism. Lunch will follow with an opportunity to connect and continue the conversation with people from across Western NY and surrounding areas.

Join with the YWCA Jamestown and amplify our ability to serve our community, and help us fulfill our mission to change the power structures that determine the future. Join us in this learning journey as we continue to do the work until injustice is rooted out, until institutions are transformed, until the world sees women, girls, and people of color the way we do: Equal. Powerful. Unstoppable.
