BookMARK: An Educational Program for Children
BookMARK is an innovative program designed to help children explore and understand diversity through reading, storytelling, and engaging discussions. The program aims to create a safer, more inclusive environment where children can learn about the challenges and experiences faced by others in their communities and around the world.
Key Features of BookMARK:
Diversity through Storytelling: Children will explore books that highlight diverse cultures, experiences, and perspectives. By learning through storytelling, they develop empathy and understanding.
Awareness of Global Issues: The program also introduces children to the struggles faced by peers in different parts of the world, teaching them the importance of empathy and social responsibility.
Understanding Boundaries & Respect: Through interactive lessons, children will explore the concept of personal boundaries, how to respect others' boundaries, and how to foster healthy relationships.

The I.D.E.A. Coalition is a dynamic local initiative dedicated to advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Allyship in our community. It’s a platform where community members can share ideas, collaborate on projects, and work together to make their schools, neighborhoods, and the world a better, more inclusive place.
