YWCA Day at Chautauqua

On Friday, July 17th, spend Chautauqua County Day at Chautauqua Institution with your YWCA friends. With free admission to the grounds for Chautauqua County residents, enjoy engaging conversation over a catered lunch and afternoon tapas during a day full of inspiring morning and afternoon lectures.

Program Highlights   

10:45 am Morning lecture in the Amphitheater. Kevin R. Kosar and Kathryn Dunn Tenpas, two of the nation’s leading experts in the workings of the U.S. federal government, governance, and interbranch relations, will present in tandem on the state of the federal government, federalism and U.S. elections. The program concludes the Chautauqua Lecture Series weeklong exploration of “The 2026 Election: What’s at Stake?”

Noon Lunch at the Presbyterian House dining room next to the amphitheater.

2:00 pm CLSC presentation in Hall of Philosophy. Marie Arana, author of LatinoLand: A Portrait of America’s Largest and Least Understood Minority. LatinoLand is an exceptional, all-encompassing overview of Hispanic America based on personal interviews, deep research, and Marie Arana’s life experience as a Latina. 

4:30 pm Tapas at the Jewish Life Center porch.
